Ailie Snow

Ailie have been working with textiles for more than thirty years now, regularly exhibiting and teaching around New Zealand, and more recently in Australia, Britain, and the United States.

In her obsessively stitched work, she combines a wide variety of cloth, as well as paper, print, and found objects, to convey her ideas and feelings. Another of her passions is handmade books and personal journals.

Her books and textiles share a natural affinity, in material and concept, tactile experience, and use of visual language.
